Résumé
Les conditions d’exercice des métiers de la traduction et de l’interprétation de conférence connaissent aujourd’hui une double évolution. La première est liée au développement soutenu du secteur, notamment à l’échelle globale, tandis que la seconde renvoie à l’impact croissant des technologies de l’information et de la communication. Ces dynamiques plurielles débouchent sur l’accélération de la diversification des pratiques des professions et des trajectoires de carrières qui y sont liés.
Dans notre travail de thèse nous souhaitons nous concentrer sur le deuxième axe car les nouvelles technologies changent profondément ces deux professions en ouvrant non seulement de nouveaux supports et objets inscrits dans le domaine linguistique, mais en conduisant à une transformation de l’activité et du périmètre du marché du travail. Nous analysons ce processus sous l'angle de choc de carrière afin de connaître comment les professionnels appréhendent et font face à ces transformations.

Abstract
The conditions under which translation and conference interpreting are practiced today are changing in two ways. The first is linked to the sustained development of the sector, particularly on a global scale, while the second is linked to the growing impact of information and communication technologies. These multiple dynamics lead to the acceleration of the diversification of professional practices and the career paths that are linked to them.
In our dissertation we wish to focus on the second axis because new technologies are profoundly changing these two professions by opening up not only new media and objects inscribed in the linguistic domain, but also by leading to a transformation of the activity and the perimeter of the labor market. We analyze this process from the point of view of career shocks in order to know how professionals apprehend and face these transformations.
