Le projet de thèse tourne autour une question principale : comment accompagner la co-création de valeurs avec les habitants/usagers locaux pour renforcer l’attractivité territoriale et assurer un développement économique durable local ? Le cas de la médina de Tunis.
Le travail doctoral se focalise sur la population des femmes vivant dans la médina en situation de précarité et les jeunes en recherche d’activité qui sont aujourd’hui des cibles de l’action d’Onu-Habitat. Le travail sera mené sur un quartier en particulier. Par conséquent, trois sous-questions découlent de la question principale : 1/Comment les femmes et les jeunes s’approprient-ils leur territoire ? 2/Pour renforcer l’agence des habitants quels sont les dispositifs à mettre en place (services, lieux, discours) ? 3/ Et notamment, comment renforcer l’engagement des femmes et des jeunes dans le développement d’une économie circulaire et durable et la protection du patrimoine culturel ? L’objectif est de trouver la meilleure approche pour renforcer l’attractivité territoriale de la médina, mettre en valeur le patrimoine et renforcer l’appropriation par les habitants dans une synergie de co création de valeurs dans le cadre d’une économie durable et circulaire

Abstract
The thesis project revolves around a main question: how to support the co-creation of values with local inhabitants / users to strengthen territorial attractiveness and ensure local sustainable economic development? The case of the medina of Tunis.
Doctoral work will focus on the population of women living in the medina in a precarious situation and young people looking for work who are now targets of UN-Habitat action. The work will be carried out on a particular neighborhood. Therefore, three sub-questions arise from the main question: 1 / How do women and young people appropriate their territory? 2 / To strengthen the residents' agency, what mechanisms should be put in place (services, places, speeches)? 3 / And in particular, how to strengthen the engagement of women and young people in the development of a circular and sustainable economy and the protection of cultural heritage? The objective is to find the best approach to strengthen the territorial attractiveness of the medina, highlight the heritage and strengthen ownership by the inhabitants in a synergy of co-creation of values within the framework of a sustainable and circular economy
